CALL FOR PAPERS: Conference Theme -- New Horizons in the Americas / Nuevos Horizontes en las Américas

It is with great pleasure that we invite you and your colleagues on behalf of Webster University in St. Louis to participate in the Annual Meeting of the interdisciplinary Midwest Association of Latin American Studies (MALAS) to be held on the home campus of Webster University in Webster Groves from November 3 - 5, 2005. The conference, whose theme is New Horizons in the Americas / Nuevos Horizontes en las Américas, promises to be an exciting event. A number of sessions and papers have been proposed and we are still looking for more sessions and paper presenters, including students' papers !
The MALAS conference remains an excellent opportunity and exceptional value among professional and academic association meetings. The all-inclusive registration fee is $95 for professionals with early pre-conference registration and includes access to paper sessions PLUS a Thursday reception, Friday luncheon and night banquet followed by entertainment, and Saturday luncheon. Special rates are available for students. Prizes (with monetary value) are awarded to the best undergraduate and graduate papers. Bring your students along!
